Join us for a free Halloween double feature Madison Movie Night from 7-8:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 at The Challenger Learning Center IMAX theater in Tallahassee, FL.FREE with RSVP: http://2081.eventbrite.comOur main short film “2081” is based on the short story, “Harrison Bergeron,” by Kurt Vonnegut. The adaptation depicts a dystopian future in the year 2081 in which everyone is “finally equal” thanks to the unceasing vigilance of the U.S. Handicaper General. It is a poetic tale of triumph and tragedy about a broken family, a brutal government, and an act of defiance that changes everything. Our second 17-minute film “Little Brother” is a movie showing how a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, haunted by memories of a dark past, uses her unbreakable spirit to challenge the status quo and fight tyranny. These films are not recommended for children under 18. Parental discretion is advised.
