1/29/20156:10:49 PM: And right now the James Madison Institute is hosting a panel discussion on the topic of school choice. Eyewitness News reporter Chris Gros is joining us live now from the Challenger Learning Center. Chris, what can guests expect to see and hear tonight?AJ, Julie, it’s really a unique show-case. Now supporters of school choice want parents to pick where their children go to school, Be it public – private – public charter – homeschools or magnet schools. For the folks who come tonight you can learn more about these choices. One of the ways is through a free screening of the short film The Ticket. I’m told the movie takes a look at different forms of schooling across the entire country. Now a panel discussion follows the film and it includes The Ticket film maker Bob Bowdon. This is a free event and starts right at seven. We’ll have more reaction from the parents and guests here tonight on Eyewitness News at 11.
