January 21, 2015Television TranscriptNews Anchors: Dozens celebrated Florida’s economic success story’ today as part of “Thrift Week” at The James Madison Institute. The gathering included a lecture about how Florida sets an example in fiscal responsibility. Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater  issued a state proclamation recognizing Thrift Week. The discussion also included how to bring more businesses to the state.Bob McClure speaking:The state of Florida has done a tremendous job of returning the tax dollars to you and me, the taxpayers, of the great state of Florida. That’s our view of thrift.
