Food trucks, Film Society to show ‘Dog Days’ documentaryFans of local food trucks and the Tallahassee Film Society are invited to the Friday showing of the documentary “Dog Days,” which chronicles the struggles of an unemployed entrepreneur and a veteran hotdog vendor who try to get a new venture off the ground. The event takes place at All Saints Cinema, 918 Railroad Ave., where Street Chefs, Valhalla Grill, Royal Porker BBQ and other food vendors will gather beginning at 5:30 p.m. The free showing of the movie begins at 6:30 p.m.Afterward, there will be a short discussion with Bill Mattox from The James Madison Institute and Beverly Rich, vice president of the Tallahassee Food Truck Association, about the film and a recent study on food trucks conducted by the Institute for Justice in the District of Columbia.
