Statement from Sal Nuzzo, vice president of policy at The James Madison Institute regarding the AFP Press Conference on Solar Energy Proposals: “The James Madison Institute stands for the principles of limited government, free markets and equality of opportunity. We fully support the concept of expanding Florida’s use of renewable energy, but it should be done in the context of free market competition – not by way of subsidies, carve outs or mandates. We look forward to engaging in this issue over the course of the next several months, and working with our friends at AFP Florida and other free market organizations to shed light on the specific policy reforms proposed.”
