On March 13, 2013 The James Madison Institute (JMI) commemorated 25 years of serving as Florida’s premier public policy organization with an anniversary gala held at the University Center Club at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
More than 400 friends and supporters of JMI gathered to watch a packed line up of speakers address the evening’s theme of “Liberty, Leadership and Legacy.” Speakers included: Florida Governor Rick Scott, Speaker of the Florida House Will Weatherford, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater, Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam, and keynote speakers Dr. Ed Feulner and Senator Jim DeMint from The Heritage Foundation.
