Join JMI on Thursday, December 6 for a luncheon on “The Outsider’s Dilemma: Why Private Solutions to Poverty are the Key to Prosperity.”

DESCRIPTION

Our efforts to help the world’s poor have a mixed record at best. In fact, many of our government’s most ambitious international aid programs have done more harm than good. As outsiders, whether from another country or just a neighboring community, we will always lack some of the critical knowledge needed to achieve lasting economic progress in places that need it most. That doesn’t mean we give up. It means we need a better way to help. There’s a solution to this outsider’s dilemma and it starts with private philanthropy. Join The James Madison Institute and Atlas Network for lunch on Thursday, December 6 to learn how you can better support growth and prosperity in your hometown and throughout the developing world.
