03/17/05 – How – and Why – Should Florida’s Sales Tax Exemptions be Reviewed?

By: The James Madison Institute / 2005

A group called FAIR (Floridians Against Inequitable Rates) headed by former Florida Senate President John McKay is attempting to put three amendments to Florida’s Constitution on the 2006 ballot. Exemptions that the Legislature did not explicitly vote to retain would be eliminated.
