Dr. Susan Aud, Reasearch Associate, Milton and Rose Friedman Foundation
Dr. Susan L. Aud teaches doctoral level quantitative methods courses as a professorial lecturer at the Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University,  Her research has predominately been focused on K-12 public education fiscal policy, as well the competitive and efficiency effects of school choice on the public scgiik systen,  Dr. Aud receuved her Ph.D. from George Mason University and an MBA in finance from George Washington University.

Dr. Michael Bond, Professor of Economics, Cleveland  State University
Michael Bond, Ph.D., is the Senior Fellow in Health Care Policy at The Buckeye Institute, Professor of Finance at Clevland State University and adjunct lecturer at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.  He has taught heahth care finance along with numerous other courses.  He is an active consultant and has worked with over 150 law firms and companies on mumerous issues.  His work on Medical Savings Accounts (MSAs) and health-care policy reform has received national attention and appeared in a wide range of professional and popular publications, including Health Care Financial Management, Public Personnel Management, Compensation and Benefits Review, Benefits Quarterly, and Business Horizons.  Along with over 70 articles and presentations, he is the author of the nation's first practical guide to reforming Medicaid using a makret based plan (published by the Buckeye Institute in 2003).  This resulted in the establishement of a Medicaid Commission in Ohio that adopted many of the proposals in their final report.  The State of Florida recently proposed Medicaid reforms based on his "Insurance & Provider Exchange Model".  Mike earned his Ph.D., M.A. and B.A. in economics from Case Western Reserve University and serves as an advisor on Medicaid to South Carolinal Governor Mark Sanford.

Dr. Marshall DeRosa, Professor of Political Science, Florida Atlantic University
Marshall L. DeRosa is a Professor of Political Science at Florida Atlantic University. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Houston, and has taught at Louisiana State University and Davis and Elkins College. He is an adjunct faculty member for the Ludwig von Mises Institute, a founding member of the Academy of Philosophy & Letters, a Salvatori Fellow of the Heritage Foundation, and a member of the Philadelphia Society. His publications include The Confederate Constitution of 1861: An Inquiry Into American Constitutionalism (University of Missouri Press) and The Ninth Amendment and the Politics of Creative Jurisprudence (Transaction Publishers) and most recently Redeeming American Democracy (Pelican Publishing Company 2007). His research interests include American jurisprudence, federalism, and civics education.

Dr. Thomas DiBacco, Professor Emeritus of History, American University
Thomas V. DiBacco has had a distinguished career in teaching (U.S. History, U.S. Social History, and History of Business, Technology, and the Economy) and as a consultant to governmental and private organizations. He is the author of numerous books, including "Made in the U.S.A.", and articles in scholarly journals and newspapers. He retired in 1999.

Dr. James Gwartney, Professor of Economics, Florida State University

Dr. Gwartney, Professor of Economics, holder of the Gus A. Stavros Eminent Scholar Chair and Director of the Stavros Center for the Advancement of Free Enterprise and Economic Education at Florida State University. During 1999-2000, he served as Chief Economist of the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. He is the coauthor of Economics: Private and Public Choice, (Thompson/South-Western Press). This text, now in its 10th edition, has been used by more than 1 million students during the last two decades. He is author (or coauthor) of numerous books and articles, including Economic Freedom of the World, an annual report published by a worldwide network of institutes and What Everyone Should Know About Economics and Prosperity, (1993), a book designed for the interested lay reader of economics. The English version of this book has been translated into 15 foreign languages. His doctoral degree in economics is from the University of Washington. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the former Soviet Union, China and Latin America. During 1993-94, Dr. Gwartney was a Visiting Professor of Economics at Central European University in Prague, Czech Republic. A member of the Mont Pelerin Society, he was invited by the incoming Putin Administration in March 2000 to make presentations and have discussions with leading Russian economists concerning the future of the Russian economy. His professional publications have appeared in the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, Cato Journal, and European Journal of Political Economy. His writings have also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, and Investor's Business Daily. James Gwartney is currently in the Director of the Stavros Center for the Advancement of Free Enterprise and Economic Education at Florida State University. 

Wynton Hall, Professor of Speech Communication, Bainbridge College

Wynton Hall is a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is a noted author and his work has appeared in many publications.  In addition to writing books and articles, Hall serves as a communication consultant and speechwriter. His past clients include top leaders from a myriad of fields.  He was the recipient of the Texas A&M University Distinguished Research Award. In September 2003, Hall was invited to serve as a member of the eight-person National Task Force on the Presidency and Public Opinion, which is comprised of some of the nation's top presidential scholars.  Hall was previously an intern for United States Senator Connie Mack and also worked in the Florida State Senate.He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in political campaigning, speechwriting, communications, and presidential rhetoric at Texas A&M University, East Tennessee State University, and Bainbridge College.Hall holds a M.A. from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Public Affairs. He received his B.A in Political Science from the University of Florida.

Dr. Randall Holcombe, Professor of Economics, Florida State University

Randall G. Holcombe is the DeVoe Moore Professor of Economics at Florida State University.  He received his Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Tech, and has taught at Texas A&M University and at Auburn University prior to coming to Florida State in 1988.  Dr. Holcombe is also Senior Fellow at the James Madison Institute, a Tallahassee-based think tank that specializes in issues facing state governments.  He is the author of ten books and more than 100 articles published in academic and professional journals.  His most recent book, From Liberty to Democracy: The Transformation of American Government was published by the University of Michigan Press in 2002.  His primary areas of research are public finance and the economic analysis of public policy issues.

Dr. Barry Poulson, Professor of Economics, University of Colorado

Barry W. Poulson, Ph.D., Ohio State, 1965, is a professor of economics specializing in development economics and economic history. His recent research focuses on convergence of economic growth in frontier economies. He is also completing a project on the impact of constitutional constraints on fiscal policy. Dr. Poulson is a Past President of the North American Economics and Finance Association. He is currently an adjunct scholar of the Heritage Foundation and senior fellow of the Independence Institute. He also serves on the Colorado Commission on Taxation.

J.B. Ruhl, J.D., Professor of Law, Florida State University

J. B. Ruhl, the Matthews & Hawkins Professor of Property, is a nationally regarded expert in the fields of endangered species protection, regulation of wetlands, ecosystem management, environmental impact analysis, and environmental and natural resources law. His extensive publications include his award-winning articles, "Currencies and the Commodification of Environmental Law," 53 Stanford Law Review 539 (2000) (co-authored), and "Farms, Their Environmental Harms, and Environmental Law," 27 Ecology Law Quarterly 263 (2000), each of which was selected by a national peer review committee as one of the ten best law review articles of the year in environmental law. Professor Ruhl is also co-author of the forthcoming casebook, The Law of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management (Foundation Press). He teaches Environmental Law, Land Use, and Property. Prior to joining the Florida State University College of Law faculty in 1999, Professor Ruhl taught at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and George Washington University Law School. Before entering law teaching, he was a partner in the law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. in Austin Texas. Professor Ruhl has served as the Executive Editor of the American Bar Association, Section of Environmental, Energy, and Resources Law quarterly, Natural Resources & Environment, and as the Publications Officer of that ABA Section.
