TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The James Madison Institute congratulates Logan Elizabeth Padgett as she is promoted to Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs for the Institute.

“As JMI grows and expands our presence both in Florida and beyond, Logan’s contributions to the entire organization cannot be overstated. She’s been pivotal in our development over the past five years, and we would not be where we are without her.” – Dr. Bob McClure, President and CEO, The James Madison Institute.

In her role, Logan will continue to advance the priorities of JMI across all regions of the state, engage with policymakers and stakeholders, and help export Florida’s success story across the country. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed by those outside of JMI, having been named to Florida Politics 2021 30-Under-30 list of young influencers. JMI is also growing our communications and public affairs team to add new resources in the coming months.

“Logan has become an integral part of our team and shown herself to be a capable leader in just a few short years at JMI. Her dedication, her character, and her focus on the mission has meant more for the Institute than just about anything I can think of. She never seeks the spotlight, and yet her expertise has meant that we are all better off. I can’t imagine life at JMI without her.”- Sal Nuzzo, Vice President of Policy, The James Madison Institute

Logan has spent five years as JMI’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs, coming to the Institute from the Heartland Institute. Her elevation brings her into senior leadership at JMI and is a recognition of both her career accomplishments and JMI’s commitment to her continued advancement.
