State Senator Mike Bennett wants cities and counties to have a yard sale in an effort to fund projects that they need.  Bennett plans to submit legislation that would require cities and counties take an inventory of the land they own and get rid of property they don't need.  But why stop at land?  And why only cities and counties?  Every city, county, and even the state should take inventory of everything they own and look for divestment opportunities.
