Will Patrick is a second generation Floridian by way of Sarasota and is proud of being shaped by a community full of America’s Greatest Generation.
Will joins the James Madison Institute as the new Capitol Reporter. His diverse background and experience will be most useful in successfully achieving these goals.
After graduating from Riverview High School, Will attended Florida State University and studied finance. A semester before graduation however, he took an opportunity to test his abilities in-front of the camera in the advertising field in New York City. Within weeks Will landed his first campaign and went on to be featured in numerous national ads, including Ralph Lauren, Gap, and Abercrombie and Fitch.
Seeking greater challenges, he pursued and achieved numerous television and film roles but is most proud of appearing in the 2005 Broadway production of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.
In 2008 Will returned to school at Hunter College, City University of New York, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in American Political Studies. After graduation he and his wife, Laura, moved to Tallahassee to start their family.
Before joining the James Madison Institute, Will worked at the Attorney General’s Office assisting in recouping millions in Medicaid fraud.
