Jill Mattox, JMI’s Development Grant Writer, has extensive experience reviewing grants for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Jill previously served as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Congress and as a policy expert and grant writer for two nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C. In these positions, she was responsible for compiling legislative summary packets, writing articles on policy issues, testifying before U.S. Congressional Committees and writing grant proposals.
Jill is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Furman University, where she majored in English and Spanish. A mother of four, she serves as a leader in the Moms in Touch organization and on the Young Life Tallahassee Committee. Along with her husband, Jill enjoys being involved in her children’s sports and artistic activities.
